Óscala is a Dutch/Spanish supplier of nearshore software engineering services. The company is HQ based in Haarlem (NL) and has a Software Development Center in the city center of Valencia.

Óscala works for a growing list of reputable clients in The Netherlands and surrounding countries. We offer our clients additional (remote) capacity so they can continue to build their state-of the-art software solutions, web applications, mobile apps and alike.

Each Óscala Software Developer works exclusively for one client and is an integral part of their Software Development team - working closely and on a daily basis together with Tech Leads, Architects and other colleagues of the IT team in The Netherlands (or Germany or Belgium).

To facilitate the needs of our employees Óscala operates on a hybrid office model, meaning working (partly) from our Development center and/or a few days per week from a home office.

PHP Developer (Symfony)

About our client

Our client develops and implements digital solutions for hospitals. Due to the solid medium-sized financing and good sales situation, they are independent of short-term interests and have a sustainable position in the hospital market.

They are a leader in the market for patient portals and win customers with sophisticated portal solutions and extensive experience in clinical software projects.

Their goal is to connect all stakeholders in the healthcare system and involve patients in this process.

Ideally, you have the following:

o   Minimum 6+ years of experience in development in total

o   Highest PHP version he/she's been working on should be 8.X+

o   Highest Symfony version he/she's been working on should be 5.X+

o   The candidate must have experience with REST-API
